Farm Kafka's Ascension materials
Kafka's Ascension requires specific materials at different levels, including Thief's Instinct and Shape Shifter's Lightning Staff. You'll need a total of 65 Shape Shifter's Lightning Staff and 308,000 credits to complete her Ascension. You'll also need to farm character EXP materials and Credits to level her up separately.

To unlock the final Ascension for Kafka, you'll need to reach Trailblaze Level 60 and raise your Equilibrium level.
Kafka character materials needed
Kafka's ATK Percent and Break Effect increase with every level of upgrade. Her next level of upgrade requires a total of 80 character EXP and a specific number of Mob drops.
The Antimatter Legion enemies in the Herta Space Station and the Xianzhou Luofu drop mob drops for Kafka. Stagnant Shadow drops for the world boss can be found in the Stargazer Navalia area.
Kafka's Trace materials
Honkai: Star Rail has a variety of items for you to collect to strengthen Kafka's Trace. These materials include Obsidian of Dread, Obsidian of Desolation, Obsidian of Obsession, and more. You'll need these to upgrade Kafka's Basic Attack, Skill, Ultimate, and Talent.

To upgrade Kafka's Skill, Ultimate, and Talent, you'll need three times the number of items compared to her Basic Attack. Bonus Abilities and other stat nodes will also require additional materials.
It looks like you'll need to farm quite a bit to reach Kafka's full potential. Thankfully, the turn-based RPG game has a Gacha system that releases limited characters every three weeks. So if you missed out on Kafka, you'll have a chance to pull for her in the future. In the meantime, focus on increasing her ATK as much as possible.
