One of the most important aspects of the Jujutsu Kaisen Anime are Geto's amazing powers. Despite his contract with Toji, we've seen how his innate technique can absorb curses from all over Japan, and even from the other side of the world. Despite this, there is a curse that he can't absorb, and it just so happens to be Toji's. Let's take a closer look.
What is Toji's Cursed Spirit?
Before we can get into why Geto can't absorb Toji’s cursed spirit, we have to first explain what it is. In the Jujutsu Kaisen anime, Toji’s cursed spirit manifests itself as a large black creature that attacks any who threaten Toji. It can also drain energy from other cursed spirits, which led to its confrontation with Geto.
As we’ve touched on before, Geto can absorb curses from all over Japan, and even from the other side of the world. It’s a powerful ability that allows him to help those who are suffering from the effects of the cursed spirits. Unfortunately, his contract with Toji prevents him from absorbing Toji’s cursed spirit.
