Want to see a collection of all the Final Fantasy 7 swords? We do too, and thankfully, one Redditor has taken the time to photograph theirs and share it with the community. With the remake finally complete, and a sequel looking increasingly likely, it’s a good time to enjoy a last look at the iconic weapons.

“Initially, I wasted my first impression with a computer image,” the original poster admits. “So I went ahead and took some photos of them.” They go on to show off the collection, which includes 16 different swords from the original game.

Admittedly, the first image doesn’t capture the scope of the collection, but it’s the comments that really steal the show. “Why does Sephiroth not have the Masamune?” is the most common question, to which the original poster responds, “I forgot it,” with a winking face. Other users try to work out the practicalities of Sephiroth carrying the massive sword in narrow corridors, which is a fair point.

“Can we have a subreddit for people with ‘bigswordproblems’?” one user playfully suggests, with another recommending a subreddit called r/bigswordproblems. The positioning of the Buster Sword in the first image is also criticized, with another user suggesting putting it more prominently.

The majority of the responses are positive, with plenty of memories shared of struggling to level up materia with Ultima equipped. Some debate over the usefulness of Ultima Sword ensues, with “Ultima Sword > Apocalypse” being a common conclusion. The original poster also reveals that they prefer the green sword, which is likely the Ancient Sword.

If you want to see the full height of the swords, the original poster provides a link to a picture of the Buster Sword. In all, it’s a great tribute to the craftsmanship displayed in the collection, with the love for the original game and anticipation for the completion of the remake also clear from the comments.
