The Dino Survival mode is the primary game mode in Exoprimal, and it’s the race to complete objectives and then a showdown with the opposing team. As you progress through the game, you’ll encounter a wider variety of tougher missions, but with these tips, you can make it through to the end.
The majority of missions will be variations of Dino Cull and the final mission will typically be Data Key Security. The battles will become more intense as you level up, and you need to make sure that you’re geared up for the fight. Here’s everything you need to know about the Exoprimal Dino Survival mode.
How to beat Dino Cull
Dino Cull is the primary mission type in Dino Survival, and its goal is to kill a specific number of dinosaurs listed at the top of the screen. There are three levels of dino encounters, with weak dinosaurs flooding the arena at first.
As you level up, you’ll face medium-level threats like the Pachycephalosaurus and Dilophosaurus. The large-level threats are boss fights against Carnotaurus and triceratops – make sure to aim for the glowing pustules on Neo T. Rex’s body and the glowy part in its mouth to deal the most damage. Survivability is important, and having a healer like Skywave is beneficial.
Exoprimal Dino Survival mode variations
There are also variations of missions. For example, you may be defending a beacon or protecting an aircraft. You can also participate in the capture the flag variant, where controlling beacons generates energy.
How to beat Data Key Security
The Data Key Security mission tasks you with staying close to the cube and pushing members away from their Data Key.
If you get too far away from the cube, you’ll drop the Data Key – you only need to keep track of your own, but it’s in your best interest to push others away from theirs. Another final mission type is Epic Dino Cull, which is a huge boss battle with Neo T. Rex.
How to beat other final mission types
There are other final mission types that you may encounter. One of them is called ‘Capture’ – this one tasks you with controlling beacons, which generates energy at the Epicenter. The team with the most energy when the timer hits zero wins.
Another is ‘Epic Dino Cull’, this time with a twist – you will have to face multiple dinosaurs at once during this epic battle. Make sure you’re geared up with plenty of healing items and strong weapons.
With these tips and tricks, you should be prepared to take on the most difficult of missions in Exoprimal. If you’re having trouble in PvP, having a good tank like Roadblock can help, and healers like Witchdoctor are always helpful.
