Honkai: Star Rail
Honkai: Star Rail players have been affected by an event bug with version 1.1 of the turn-based RPG game. Although Honkai: Star Rail version 1.2 is right around the corner, players will still have to wait a little while to continue on their adventure. It was also previously announced that players who reached Trailblaze Level 21 and completed the “Jarilo-VI – Silent Galaxy” mission would also receive compensation for being negatively impacted by the event bug.
Honkai: Star Rail version 1.2 will introduce new characters and events to Honkai: Star Rail this summer, but players have been left unable to progress in the game’s latest rerun event, “Everwinter City Museum Ledger of Curiosities,” which started on June 11.
“It has been brought to our attention that players are unable to progress in the event, preventing them from completing limited-time missions and successfully redeeming rewards,” an official Honkai: Star Rail notice reads. “This issue will be addressed in the next version update.”
This notice comes after HoYoverse formally apologized for the inconvenience caused by this bug. Players who reached Trailblaze Level 21 and completed the “Jarilo-VI - Silent Galaxy” mission will be able to redeem their compensation starting on July 19 with roughly five hours of Honkai: Star Rail maintenance.
Honkai: Star Rail maintenance is officially scheduled for July 19 and will run for roughly five hours. Once maintenance is over, the event bug will be fixed, and Honkai: Star Rail players may redeem their compensation via the in-game mail feature.
Players should feel relieved that they’ll be able to progress in the event even after the Honkai: Star Rail version 1.2 release date passes. The event extension should be a relief for players who were unable to make progress and redeem rewards earlier this month.
Although new players may not have started Honkai: Star Rail and the Everwinter City Museum Ledger of Curiosities event yet, this extension should provide a window for them to do so before the rerun event ends. We’ll have to wait and see what new things HoYoverse has in store for the rest of the year, but the developers are expected to hold a special program live stream in the near future.
