One Piece Chapter 1086 Unveils the True Identities of the Gorosei

The story of One Piece chapter 1086 was truly iconic. It was a moment that longtime fans of the Manga will never forget. After 20 years, Eiichiro Oda finally revealed the true identities of the Five Elders, also known as the Gorosei. These powerful manga characters, who have been sitting high in the World Government and observing the events of the Thousand Sunny, finally received the time and attention they deserved.

One Piece chapter 1086 was a monumental chapter because it answered a question that fans have been asking for two decades: who are these mysterious individuals? Eiichiro Oda had never hinted at this secret before. Now, as the current arc of the story draws to a close, it is only fitting that we receive the long-awaited revelations. With One Piece wrapping up its final saga, the primary antagonist's wish being fulfilled, and Zorro joining the Straw Hat Pirates, it is clear that every major character and storyline will be given a satisfying conclusion.

The Intriguing Gorosei Member: Saint Ethanbaron V. Nusjuro

In my opinion, the most intriguing member of the Five Elders is Saint Ethanbaron V. Nusjuro, also known as V. Nusjuro. We briefly met this bald Elder before the timeskip and caught a glimpse of his strength. He possesses the legendary weapon, the Shodai Kitetsu, and deviates from the typical garb and hat associated with the Elders by wearing a kimono and samurai armor.

Eiichiro Oda revealed the names of the first four members of the Gorosei in One Piece chapter 1086. Like the World Noble family, each of the Five Elders' names is derived from planets in the solar system. Ethanbaron V. Nusjuro comes from Venus (the second planet), Hui Beenbaron IV. Calonne from Mars (the fourth planet), Alonzo Eduard III. Delasalmi from Jupiter (the fifth planet), and Bartoloméo Ivannichivich Begnini Boni Famiglia from Mercury (the eighth planet).

While each member of the Five Elders represents a major fighting style from the series, V. Nusjuro deviates the most by being a mythical Zoan Devil Fruit user. As a Warrior God, he possesses immense power. At the throne of the Five Elders, there is a large, golden circular object adorned with celestial bodies. V. Nusjuro appears to have a cloud ring around his neck, possibly indicating his full Awakening as a mythical Zoan Devil Fruit user.

V. Nusjuro's unique design, wielding a katana and sheath instead of a pistol like the others, suggests that he is a warrior of great strength who may possess Ryuo and Conqueror's Haki. His name also hints at a possible connection to the land of Wano, as the suffix '-Juro' is present, similar to members of the legendary Eatonbaron Family. The Eatonbarons are known for their betrayal of Wano to join the Celestial Dragons and the Founding 20, making V. Nusjuro's presence in the World Government a potential sign of betrayal.

V. Nusjuro's stylish design provides intriguing possibilities for his character development. If our assumptions are correct, he may become a major character in the series' future. We have seen the true potential of equally powerful foes in previous arcs such as Punk Hazard and Dressrosa, so if Nusjuro is what we suspect him to be, we can anticipate another intense battle to come.

Eiichiro Oda has discussed the true strength of the Five Elders. If we are to have an antagonist who can rival Monkey D. Luffy, it only makes sense that the strongest fighters in One Piece are introduced.
