Best Gaming Laptop Deals on Prime Day 2023
May 14, 2023: We’ve done the hard work for you and found the best Prime Day deals, sorting the wheat from the chaff. However, it might be worth keeping an eye on the deals we’ve deemed to be less desirable, as you may be able to grab them for considerably less than they were before.
We all love a good deal, but there are times when even the best Prime Day deals are nothing to get excited about. Some items on sale are nothing more than attempts to get rid of unwanted stock, and there’s nothing wrong with that – except that we’re sometimes fooled into believing they’re worth buying.
However, we’ve done the research for you and found a few good bargains among the dross. But be warned: You may have already spent a lot of money on a gaming laptop that’s anything but top of the line. It’s baffling how a gaming laptop can still have an RTX 2050 GPU in the current market, but that’s exactly what you’ll get with the Aorus 15. Similarly, the ASUS TUF Dash 15 is also not worth the price, considering the competition, and you’ll find better laptops available for less money with higher RAM and storage capacities.
Acer Inspire TC 15
This one’s a bit of a swing and a miss, especially when you consider the alternatives available at a lower price. Sure, it’s got a lot of RAM and it also has a 512GB SSD, but the storage capacity is an affront to the term ‘laptop’ and the i7-7Y75 CPU is positively prehistoric.
Don’t get us wrong, it’s got an optical drive, but is that really worth the extra cost? We’d argue that it’s not, especially as you can use an LG Super-Multi Drive to burn CDs and DVDs. It’s also worth bearing in mind that you can get a better laptop with a higher-end CPU for less money, as exemplified by our Acer Inspire TC review.
Acer Predator Triton
This is one of the few laptops on this list that actually looks like it’s worth the money, but it’s still pretty expensive. It’s got an RTX 2050 GPU, which is a bit of a stretch considering the alternatives available on the market, and it’s also a bit overpriced compared to the Acer Predator Triton review.
Admittedly, it’s got a lot of RAM and a lot of storage, but it’s still a big ask for the money. It’s also worth bearing in mind that you can get a better laptop for less money, as represented by our ASUS ROG Chimera review.
Yeyian Odachi Gaming PC
If you’ve got a lot of money to spend and you want the best gaming PC out there, then the Yeyian Odachi Gaming PC is a good buy. It’s immensely expensive, but you get a lot for your money.
However, if you’re looking to spend a lot of money, you may as well go all the way. The fact that it’s over $7,000 means there are other options out there that are better in almost every way, but it’s still a tempting choice if you want to feel fancy while gaming.
Hillsdale Furniture Game Chair
Is this a gaming chair? Well, no, it’s not. It’s a luxurious chair that exudes an aristocratic air, and it comes at a pretty high price. Still, if you’re looking to treat yourself, it’s an interesting find if you want to feel like the Duke of Wellington while gaming.
So, happy shopping, and may you find the best deals that suit your needs!
