Naruto x Boruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm Connections
The highly-anticipated Naruto x Boruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm Connections rematch between Naruto and Sasuke has been revealed, and it looks to be intense. Both heroes appear to have been possessed by some sort of evil force, and it ups the stakes for the long-awaited battle. Amidst all the fighting, there’s a bit of humor, too, as the two appear to lose an arm – possibly a reference to the fact that Naruto loses his arm in Boruto.
Bandai Namco has kept the Summer of gaming news going with a Summer showcase at Anime Expo 2023. Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm Connections made an appearance, and it’s had fans excited.
We got a first look at the new story mode in action, and it looks like a lot of fun.
While there is no specific release date yet, this has been one of the most anticipated Naruto games for years, and it’s nice to see it getting closer to release. The game’s title getting trademarked earlier this year brought new hope, and the reveal trailer at Sony’s February State of Play received mixed reactions. The more recent trailers have generated more positive buzz, and now we have a glimpse of the story mode too.
