Here's where to find all the different types of fish and sharks in the game

Want to know where to find every fish and shark in Dave the Diver? Sharks are valuable ingredients in Dave the Diver. Some are so pricey that you’ll need to save up for months before you can afford them. The star rating of a fish determines its quality and the amount of meat it provides. Killing a fish results in a one-star rating, while harpoon catches give two-star fish. To catch a three-star shark, you’ll have to be more careful and use advanced techniques to put it to sleep.

Catching fish is the main activity in Dave the Diver. Sharks, on the other hand, are rare catches. They’re so tough to subdue that you can’t just kill them outright. Thankfully, they eventually become available in the game, and it’s not difficult to catch them once you have the right tools and upgrades.

How to catch a shark in Dave the Diver

To catch a shark, you need a Tranquilizer Harpoon. This weapon becomes available in Chapter Two. Tranquilizing sharks becomes possible in this chapter, but it’s highly difficult because of the low chance of success. To increase your odds, you should upgrade to the Modified Hush Dart to increase your chances of success. Finding a Tranquilizer Harpoon Lv. 3 in weapon chests will also increase your chances of putting a shark to sleep.

Once you have the Tranquilizer Harpoon, you can start catching sharks. Sharks roam around specific areas, making it easy to target them. However, they’re fast and will swim away if given the chance. The best way to catch one is to hide behind an obstacle, preferably one that’s raised so you can stand on it. Wait for the shark to swim up to you and harpoon it. The shark will start thrashing around, damaging the environment. Your goal is to prevent it from colliding with you or any nearby structures. If you do get hit, you’ll sustain damage, and the shark will swim away. Harpooning a sleeping shark works the same way, except you won’t have to worry about collision damage.
