Disney Dreamlight Valley: Unlocking Characters and Biomes

Need to know how to unlock new Disney Dreamlight Valley biomes? Your main progression in the game is helping out characters and becoming friends with them by unlocking important figures or doing missions for them. Tasks such as collecting ingredients, mining gemstones, and crafting items will take you all over the map.

The initial biome is the Plaza, but you can gain access to other biomes like Peaceful Meadow, Dazzle Beach, Forest Of Valor, Glade Of Trust, Sunlit Plateau, Frosted Heights, and Forgotten Lands. Each biome has its own specific Dreamlight requirement, which you can see below. It’s best to unlock biomes gradually rather than trying to unlock everything at once, but we hope our guide helps you out if you’re looking to get everything at the same time.

Here are all of the Dreamlight Valley biomes and their Dreamlight requirement:

Plaza – Free

Peaceful Meadow – 5,000

Dazzle Beach – 7,500

Forest Of Valor – 10,000

Glade Of Trust – 15,000

Sunlit Plateau – 15,000

Frosted Heights – 20,000

Forgotten Lands – 25,000

Castle doors – 30,000

Dreamlight Valley Dreamlight Tasks

If you’re looking for Dreamlight right away, there are a few ways to obtain it. The in-game currency of Dreamlight is used to unlock new areas and progress through the game. You can earn Dreamlight through completing missions under the Dreamlight tab in the menu. Tasks such as gardening, fishing, cooking, and more will reward you with Dreamlight. Daily tasks also provide Dreamlight rewards, such as catching a certain amount of fish or having a daily conversation.

However, these daily tasks reset each day, so they must be completed within that time frame. It’s also important to consider that shards may be needed for other missions, so don’t craft with them unless you’re absolutely certain you won’t need them for anything else.
