The Destiny Grimoire Anthology
The Destiny Grimoire Anthology offers five volumes of lore book collections, as well as multiplayer seasons, in-game milestones, and a massive collection of in-game lore cards and short stories that flesh out the world of the Guardians and the Last City. This massive bundle is filled with years of meticulously crafted stories.
To many players, especially those who just jumped on after the long hiatus of Destiny 2 season of the Offshore and Forsaken, the lore of this insanely popular game is positively wacky. Anything from worm gods to paracausality or mysterious cascading realms of simulated history could be pulled from a randomizer on The Library, Archive, and Quora-of-doom. But if you’re up for a little weirdness (and who isn’t), reading about it is half the fun.
Players have often struggled to read the extensive in-game lore tabs, which can be a problem especially when playing on a desktop monitor in that “reduce brain to 60% standby and grind for Prime Engrams” mode. Reading the lore on a phone isn’t usually an appealing option either, and certainly not the last thing anyone wants to do while sitting on public transport.
The Destiny Grimoire Anthology solves all these problems. It gives players a way to experience the lore they might otherwise have missed (or forgotten) from the game, even if they haven’t played it at all. With a comfy setup, a nice drink, and the ePUB books in hand, players can settle in for a cozy evening by the fire, in a smoking jacket, with a snifter of brandy.
