In Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective, Chapter Sixteen - The Submarine Hideout
Embark on a perilous journey to the submarine base, where the thrilling conclusion of the game awaits. Brace yourself for a series of intricate puzzles that will test your wits like never before. As you explore the vast array of objects aboard the submarine, you'll soon realize that every item has its purpose.
The action unfolds in the lower decks of the Yonoa submarine, where you'll encounter a new spirit in the Ghost World. Here, you'll also recruit Missile, a valuable addition to your team. However, danger looms as you learn that the warhead has been activated and Sith is attempting to flee.
One notable feature of this area is the presence of nets with hanging balls. You'll discover that basketballs cause the nets to stretch down to the floor. Missile, ever resourceful, suggests a clever strategy involving swapping the baseball with the basketball to navigate the surroundings effectively.
To progress and reach the valve leading to the phone, follow these steps:
Within the torpedo room, open the wastebasket swiftly and then jump onto the basketball suspended above. Once there, assume control of the Temsik fragment to discern its intended destination.
Your mission is clear - halt Sith's escape and prevent the catastrophic detonation of the warhead. Armed with the fragment, leave the torpedo room and return to the engine room.
Above you lies a grate, tantalizingly out of reach. However, you possess the means to alter the missile's trajectory by utilizing the basketball.
By skillfully manipulating the basketball's path, you can direct the missile towards the grate, causing it to shatter upon impact.
With the obstacle overcome, ascend to the upper deck. Here, you'll encounter a panel adorned with four lights and a button. Your objective is to activate all four lights simultaneously.
Observing the basketball's trajectory, you'll notice that it can trigger the button when thrown at the correct angle. Study and modify its path accordingly. To achieve success, have Missile perform a swap between the basketball and baseball, and throw both objects simultaneously.
Strike all four lights to unlock the escape hatch, paving the way for your triumphant exit.
