Before proceeding, make sure to have the lighter on the shelf next to the phone. This is crucial for triggering a cutscene. Once prepared, activate the lighter and observe the scene. As Emma moves her desk closer to Amelie’s bed, players gain better access to the room and the attic.
Head to the attic and open the latch to drop the rat. Next, make the clock chime to catch Emma’s attention and prompt her to hit the rat with her bottle. However, players can seize the opportunity to trigger a blackout by turning the valve in the ceiling.
Proceed to the lever that drops the chandelier. Pull it when Emma returns to her chair, timing it correctly to catch her in the middle when the chandelier falls.
To lift Emma off the ground, turn the crank. Players can open the latch near the rat to make its tail dangle. Then, make the chandelier burn brighter, causing Emma to swing and awakening the rat. The rat will return to the clock, and players can speed up the clock pendulum. The rat's burning tail will scare it away, causing the phone to fall.
Teleport to the Minister’s office and speak to him at his desk to initiate a dialogue-heavy chapter. Afterward, use the phone line to go to the Park and assist Lynne.
