So, how long does Master Detective Archives: Rain Code take? We’re glad you asked. The game is divided into six chapters, labeled as ‘zero through five’, with Chapter Zero serving as an extensive prelude.
Rain Code’s Prologue and Epilogue don’t factor into this analysis as they’re optional. However, Chapter Zero can be completed in around three hours, while subsequent chapters take approximately four to five hours each.

Finally, there’s a lot of worldbuilding in Rain Code. Not only are there a lot of NPCs with whom you can interact, but there are also a lot of collectibles to find as well.
