Assassin's Creed 2 Glyphs
Looking for help with finding Assassin’s Creed 2 glyphs? The AC 2 puzzles, including the 20 glyphs, are some of the game’s most challenging brain teasers. In order to reach ‘The Truth’, players will need to solve each picture-solving riddle, one grapple hook swing at a time.
Given how huge Assassin’s Creed 2’s Florence is, it’s no surprise that there are so many glyphs to discover. Even if players are just exploring the biggest cities in the best PC games, they’ll likely stumble across a couple of puzzles. Thankfully, this guide will show players how to solve each riddle, including those specific to each glyph.
How to Find All Assassin’s Creed 2 Glyphs
To help players find and solve all the glyphs in Assassin’s Creed 2, here’s where they are located, and the puzzles they need to solve once they arrive at the scene.
If players are taking a leisurely tour through the mission, it is recommended to start in the north of Florence, at the top of Santa Croce – the church that held Francesco de’ Pazzi’s failed execution. After visiting the Prior’s Chambers, players should walk around to the other side of the building, where they will easily see the glyph on the northern wall.
Once players are at the top of Santa Croce, they should walk south until they see La Rosa Colta’s roofs. The second glyph can be found on the highest roof, opposite Santa Croce’s bell tower.
Down the road, opposite Il Giardino’s northern entrance, players should climb the path alongside the canal towards the Ospedale Degli Innocenti. They are looking for the orange and yellow wall that borders the building’s southern side. Climb up to the second floor and walk along the western side of the wall to find this glyph.
This one can be tricky to find because no nearby landmark gives away its whereabouts. It’s on the northern side of the big canal located between the Torre Rosa and the northern Villa. Players should cross the bridge and follow the canal north, then west. It might take a while, but they will eventually come across the glyph. Alternatively, players can use the fast travel hot spots to reach the landmarks quickly: Ospedale Degli Innocenti and La Rosa Colta.
Each of the prior four glyphs presents players with a unique puzzle that involves matching shapes and images to progress. Once they have solved the initial puzzle, they’ll be asked to mindlessly climb to a specific point, at which point a cutscene will play, revealing the next part of the puzzle. To spare players the pointless climbing, this guide will guide them through each step in the section below.
This riddle involves matching different shapes to images of apples in order to fill the empty square. Initially, players will be presented with three circles and three apple images. They need to select the matching image to fill in each circle. As they complete the initial segment, they’ll be presented with more circles, this time with five images to choose from.
Before leaving the area, players should look to the back of the room and they’ll see a set of stairs. They can climb up them and onto the landing to find this health lift.
