A Kingdom Hearts player has achieved the impressive feat of reaching level 100 without ever leaving Destiny Islands. That’s right, they reached level 100 on Destiny Islands. This means they never had to suffer the indignity of being level 19 on Hollow Bastion. The Heartless won't know what hit them with this level 100 Sora on Destiny Islands.
YouTuber Reptilian Pineapple spent over 250 hours grinding XP by continuously fighting Tidus on the islands. Their grind involved fights so long that they even had to take regular breaks for sustenance and sleep.
By utilizing Sora’s slide dash ability, Reptilian Pineapple discovered that they could parry Tidus almost every time, earning more XP than usual by equipping Tech boosts. By stacking four Tech boosts, the XP gained from parries increased from 2 to 6.
Reptilian Pineapple’s entire journey was streamed on YouTube and TikTok, so if you want to follow along, you can. This heroic effort is not unprecedented, however, as Aaroneous Gaming achieved a similar feat in 2018.
Even in the face of such time and patience required, such feats of rare attempts are still being achieved. We cannot wait to see what they attempt next in Kingdom Hearts 2. For now, we’ll be refreshing their YouTube and TikTok channels to see all the highlights.
