Moonlight Peaks: A Nocturnal Farming Adventure

Moonlight Peaks is a unique take on the classic farm sim, as you'll be farming in the dark. That's because as a shapeshifting witch vampire, you can't avoid being out at night while your crops are growing. You'll truly be a mage of all trades in this nocturnal farming sim, as you're not only a farmer, but also a witch and a vampire.

In this upcoming nocturnal farming game, you'll be able to put down roots in the sleepy town of Moonlight Peaks and prove to your disapproving dad Dracula "that a life of compassion is possible." In addition to the crops you'd typically expect to grow in a farm sim, Moonlight Peaks will feature a variety of supernaturals living in town, all of whom you'll have the opportunity to interact with.

In Moonlight Peaks, you'll have access to all the elements of a classic farm sim, from crops, cooking, fishing, seasonal events, friendships, romance, and even the ability to decorate your outdoor farm space. Since you're a vampire, all the farming activities take place after dark – offering a unique perspective on the 24-hour clock.

Moonlight Peaks features a cute, Animal Crossing-like art style with tiny 3D characters and plump, colorful crops. Since you're a shapeshifting witch vampire, you'll have access to some unique farming equipment, including cursed chickens, pigs, and even googly-eye rocks – though it's unclear whether they're meant for consumption.

The developers promise that Moonlight Peaks will feature potion brewing, which could play a role in developing special crops. They've also teased the ability to enchant your watering can with a spell to automate watering your crops – something that any farmer would appreciate.

With such extensive customization options for your outdoor farm space, including paths, fences, tilled areas, and decorations, you'll be able to create the farm of your dreams – as long as you don't mind working in the dark.

Moonlight Peaks isn't set to release anytime soon, as the developers have stated that it's "not likely" to come out this year. However, fans of farm sims can add the game to their Steam wishlist to stay updated on its progress.
