Sony Focuses on Creating Remasters of PlayStation Classics

Sony seems to be turning toward a focus on creating remasters of PlayStation classics, as indicated by a new video from Nixxes Software. Nixxes Software is the studio behind many high-quality PC ports of PlayStation exclusives such as Horizon Zero Dawn and Ratchet & Clank.

Nixxes' work has allowed players to experience great games on PC, including Horizon Zero Dawn, Spider-Man, and the new Ratchet & Clank. Following the recent release of Shadow of the Colossus and the upcoming Days Gone exclusively on the PS4, it is exciting to hear about more potential remasters from PlayStation.

David Van Waveren, Nixxes content manager, mentioned in a YouTube video for Ratchet & Clank that they have been working on more remasters and making significant improvements with modern technology. The video itself does not reveal any specifics, but the fact that Sony is moving towards the concept of remasters and entrusting Nixxes with the task is promising. It is speculated that a potential Bloodborne remaster may be in the works.

While waiting for updates and announcements about this exciting endeavor from PlayStation and Nixxes, players can check out the PC port of Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, which was just released. Additionally, fans can look forward to The Game Awards later this year, where another big remaster reveal is anticipated.
