A Spider-Man Miles Morales Modder Introduces Spider-Punk's Movie Animation Style
A Spider-Man Miles Morales modder has introduced Spider-Punk's movie animation style through a new mod, and fans are already buzzing with excitement. The mod, created by GalanArtworks, aims to bring the unique animation style of Spider-Punk to the PlayStation 4 game using a variety of tools.
In the hit movie "Across the Spider-Verse," Spider-Punk's distinct visual style featured animated three-frame artwork and different frame rates for individual parts of his character, creating a mesmerizing paper-like effect. GalanArtworks has posted a short clip on Twitter showcasing Spider-Punk swinging through NYC with the character's signature movement flow and yellow stroke.
One of the mod's goals is to make the model go black and white when idle, replicating Spider-Punk's disruptive appearance. The model is based on the movie version of Spider-Punk, complete with the mohawk, blue shirt, and leather jacket. To create this mod, various tools such as the Suit Adding Tool for Miles Morales, the Suit Name Importer, and the Spider-Man Miles Morales PC Modding Tool are required.
In the game, Spider-Verse movement utilizes a power-up that animates Spider-Punk on two's instead of three's. However, the modders plan to expand beyond the yellow outline and incorporate more elements of the movie's animation style.
The video showcasing the mod has gone viral, amassing an impressive 3.2 million views, 63,000 likes, and over 9,000 retweets. GalanArtworks expressed surprise at the video's popularity and credited @DeadGunned as the modeler of the Spider-Punk suit.
While the mod is not currently available for download, GalanArtworks will provide updates on Twitter. Be sure to follow Galan's Twitter account for the latest developments on this highly anticipated mod.
