User creates own game engine and programming language, finishes game
A user takes over r/Gaming and shares their journey to create their own game engine and programming language, and finally, a game. After working on the project for years, the user has finished their game, which is called Floppy Cat Bow Golf. They explain the motivation behind creating the new engine, which was to gain ultimate design freedom and more control over the debugging process, and detail some of the quirks of the programming language they created. Other users express their wish for a physics-based animation system like the one in Floppy Cat Bow Golf in games like Skyrim, and their excitement for the user creating their own engine.
The user also expresses their goal of creating stuffed versions of the characters in the future, and the other users show their interest by adding the game to their wishlist and congratulating the user on their accomplishment.
