The Yakuza team confirms the next Like A Dragon game as Like A Dragon: Infinite Wealth, with a release date window in early 2024.

The original reveal teaser for the next Like A Dragon game showed newly-crowned protagonist Ichiban and protagonist regent Kiryu walking through the neon gates of Kamurocho together. But the latest trailer for Like A Dragon teases a lot more than that.
For one, Ichiban wakes up on an American-sounding beach, fully pantsless, surrounded by English speaking sunbathers. The trailer description confirms that yes, this is definitely the next mainline game, and that it will continue to have turn-based combat and star Kiryu and Ichiban as dual protagonists.
The only other hint that we get is the title shot at the end which shows Ichiban looking off into the sunset in a casual button-down and capris reminiscent of that jaunt off to Okinawa that Kiryu took in Yakuza 3.
We have already done our deep dive into the Like A Dragon trailers to pull out some hints, but the Infinite Wealth website includes a locale image, which we have included below.
Though this image hints at the return of Roto Street, we can’t help but notice the lack of video-game-ready locales like the Run Amok Yogurt shop, Club SEGA, the Nomad Casino grassy area, and the Master Arcade that could otherwise occupy that space.
The picture is also lacking in any semblance of a brooding Ara-Kura or Wada Skeleton, and is almost entirely bereft of the regular characters that would inhabit Roto Street, such as Takashi and Akko. According to RGG, Ryo is confirmed as having a bit part, so where is he?
The Infinite Wealth website also includes a music video with Taro Sakomoto performing a new theme called ‘Growing Over’ which could provide the song for the upcoming teaser.
