Breath of the Wild players customizing Link's outfit as Ezio from Assassin's Creed

Breath of the Wild players are having fun customizing Link's outfit to resemble Ezio from Assassin's Creed, and the ability to climb on top of structures in the Open-world game and wear a hood gives the resemblance even more striking synchronizations.

Whether you think the comparison is fair or not, there’s no denying that the customization options in Breath of the Wild allow for players to recreate Ezio’s iconic look, right down to the dagger and belt. The synchronized movements and actions of the characters are reminiscent of Assassin’s Creed as well, although Breath of the Wild hasn’t been compared to the Ubisoft game for its story.

Many players are excited about the idea of an “Assassins Link,” and there’s a general consensus that Breath of the Wild and Assassin’s Creed have similar aesthetics and gameplay overall. Some even hope that there will be a convenient stack of hay to land on while jumping from high places, just like in the Assassin’s Creed games.

There’s more to it than just the outfit and climbing, though, as the synchronization of Link’s movements is eerie, and it would be fun to see him perform an Assassin’s Creed-style leap of faith. The white outfit option in Breath of the Wild adds to the Ezio resemblance, although some players point out that the jump may not be high enough for a satisfying experience.

Some players find it amusing that Link is getting flack for his choice of attire, as they point out that various NPCs wear similar hoods. Others joke about Link’s climbing ability giving him a leg up on a certain rival, as the Master Sword can’t even cut Ganondorf.

So, what do you think? Would you like to see Link pull off an Assassin’s Creed-style leap of faith in Breath of the Wild? Let us know in the comments below. If you’re looking for more Breath of the Wild guides, we’ve got plenty of them here at PC Game Spotlight.
