A new Black Panther game is in the works, led by Electronic Arts, Marvel Games, and Cliffhanger Games. The studio is founded by former Monolith head Kevin Stephens, who aims to bring players an authentic, singleplayer action-adventure game set in the world of Wakanda. The team's focus is on player agency and narrative.

Creating an Original Third-Person Experience

Stephens and his team are thrilled to have the opportunity to create an original, third-person, singleplayer experience set in the world of Wakanda. With a talented team that includes leaders from Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor, Tomb Raider, and other top franchises, they aim to introduce players to a new, never-before-seen, never-before-told Black Panther story.

Stephens himself has an impressive background, having worked on notable titles such as NOLF, FEAR, Tron 2.0, and Condemned: Criminal Origins. Cliffhanger Games has already begun work on the brand-new Black Panther game.

Writing and Development

The writing duties for the game have not been announced yet. However, there is hope for Evan Narcisse, known for his ability to capture T'Challa's dry sense of humor. More details about the game's development are still to come, as EA has confirmed that it is in the early stages and declined to provide further information.
