The Secret Invasion has a star-studded lineup of actors portraying various characters, so we’ve put together a list of who’s who in this new series.

If you’re looking forward to The Secret Invasion, it makes sense to brush up on your Marvel history. There are plenty of characters who have appeared in previous movies and TV shows, so you may already be familiar with some of the faces in this new show. This lineup of actors is stacked, so there’s a good chance you’ve seen some of them before, but for the benefit of anyone who hasn’t, we’ve included a quick rundown of who they play in the new MCU show.

The Secret Invasion cast includes:

• Samuel L. Jackson returns as Nick Fury, the iconic character known for his eyepatch and strategic brilliance. The Secret Invasion is his first appearance since his involvement in Avengers: Endgame, so it’ll be interesting to see how much time has passed since he last appeared in the MCU.
• Ben Mendelsohn reprises his role as Talos, the shape-shifting Skrull who first appeared in Captain Marvel. He’s joined by Cobie Smulders who returns as Maria Hill, a high-ranking S.H.I.E.L.D. agent who has appeared in multiple Marvel films.
• Emilia Clarke joins the cast as G’iah, a mysterious character whose role in the Secret Invasion storyline is yet to be revealed. Kingsley Ben-Adir portrays Gravik, another enigmatic character whose true intentions remain unknown.
• Don Cheadle reprises his role as James ‘Rhodey’ Rhodes, known as War Machine, a close ally of Iron Man. Dermot Mulroney takes on the role of President Ritson, a political figure who becomes entangled in the Secret Invasion plot.
• Martin Freeman returns as Everett K. Ross, a CIA agent who has previously appeared in Black Panther and other Marvel films. Olivia Colman joins the cast as Sonya Falsworth, a character with a mysterious background and potential ties to the Secret Invasion storyline.

In addition to these actors, the official Secret Invasion Instagram page also revealed that Glenn Keogh will reprise his role as General Hager from Marvel’s Captain America: The First Avenger film.

The Secret Invasion release date

The Secret Invasion premiere date was May 3 in the US, and May 8 in the UK.
