After eight long years, the traveling merchant Van makes his return in Story of Seasons: Friends of Mineral Town. However, getting him to appear in your town requires some effort.

In Story of Seasons: Friends of Mineral Town, one of the most interesting things to come back from the previous game is Van the traveling merchant. To bring him to your town, you'll need to work hard, but once he's here, you can buy pets, ore, and even records.

How to Unlock Van's Presence

To unlock Van's presence in your town, you need to present the Harvest Goddess with 30 gifts over 30 days. These gifts can be non-consecutive and should be flowers, as she has a preference for them. Simply throw a flower into the spring area between the health spa and the mine each day to please her. Once she has received her 30 gifts, Van will appear on the next sunny Wednesday.

Van's Schedule and Offerings

Van's shop is located on the second floor of the Inn, and he appears every Wednesday from 8 am until 9 pm. In his shop, you can find various items such as Copper, Silver, Gold, and Mithril. However, be prepared for inflated prices. Van also offers a Record Player for 2000G and records starting at 500G, allowing you to play different music on your farm.
