The Witcher 3 Treasure Hunt: A Plea Ignored
The Treasure Hunt: A Plea Ignored is one of the many side quests in Velen. It combines chasing loot with investigating a burned-down house. The quest is located southwest of Velen, near the small village of Condyle.
Upon arrival, you’ll notice that the building is now nothing more than a pile of smouldering embers. Thankfully, Geralt’s Witcher Senses can help us locate the dead body near the building. Upon searching the body, we find the key and letter needed for this quest. We’ll learn more about what happened when we read the letter.
The treasure hunt in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is called A Plea Ignored. It focuses on searching the peninsula. However, before we can begin, we’ll be attacked by a dangerous grave hag in the vicinity.
Grave hags are formidable necrophages. Thankfully, there are ways to tip the odds in our favour. We can use Necrophage Oil and Black Blood, which nullify their ability to regenerate health.
After defeating the grave hag, we should head towards the burned-down house and circle around to the west side. Using Geralt’s Witcher Senses will highlight a chest that miraculously survived the fire.
Open the chest to complete the quest. We’re rewarded with Harvall, a unique steel sword that enhances Igni Sign Intensity. It also has a chance to set enemies on fire. Harvall is a perfect weapon for witchers who enjoy setting things ablaze.
