Underlab, the upcoming Multiplayer game from the developers of Among Us and Project Winter, is pure chaos. Showcased in a new reveal trailer, the underwater deception game offers chaotic gameplay and introduces some key differences between it and its predecessors.
In Underlab, players assume the roles of lab employees working in an underwater base, trying to maintain operations while uncovering the saboteur among them. A high score board will offer comparison between different labs, as the team at Underlab want to encourage a sense of competition and camaraderie to see who can be the best within the game.

There’s a lot to unpack from this announcement, but here are some key differences between Underlab and Among Us.
Underlab will have some chaotic weaponry available, including flamethrowers, rainbow acid vomit, and water guns. We can also see that Underlab will feature some chaotic, acid-filled death chambers, some chaotic power-ups, and even chaotic cake. While chaotic is the main word here, it’s not all fun and games – the trailer teases some chaotic gameplay elements that we’ll explain below.
There are also various classes to choose from, including janitor, doctor, security guard, and even a member of HR. The game also offers a comprehensive character creator so you can choose how you want to appear among your fellow Underlab employees.
