Armored Core 6 will feature Multiplayer, as confirmed by FromSoftware, as the team prepares to launch the next DLC for the highly anticipated mech game, Fires of Rubicon. The developers detail what we can expect from the upcoming DLC, and answer some of the community’s most pressing questions, including whether or not Armored Core 6 will have co-op.
Previously, it was unclear whether Armored Core 6 would feature multiplayer. However, FromSoftware confirms that players can look forward to engaging in mecha PVP battles in the game’s versus mode. The developers also introduce a new Spectator Mode, which will allow players to spectate matches and watch others’ gameplay.
“There will be a versus mode where players can engage in mecha PVP battles,” FromSoftware confirms. “We will also be introducing a Spectator Mode that will allow players to watch matches and learn from others’ strategies.”
As for whether or not we can expect co-op gameplay in Armored Core 6, the development team says, “Co-op functionality is yet to be confirmed.”
