Someone on the internet has beat Armored Core 6 without using weapons, using nothing but punches to decimate enemies and bosses alike. YouTuber ZeroLenny showcases the achievement in their latest video.

Armored Core 6 Punch-Only Run

Building on the Armored Core 6 Punch-Only Run I reported on a few days ago, YouTuber ZeroLenny shows off their own impressive accomplishment. The task is not as simple as merely walking up to enemies and hitting them, as doing so depletes stamina, which takes a long time to recover. ZeroLenny strategically saves credits to acquire a generator that allows for faster stamina recovery, allowing them to spam punches without consequence.

Punching does not consume ammo, but ZeroLenny explains that doing so depletes the player’s stamina, leaving them vulnerable to attacks. While this isn’t an issue when fighting weaker enemies, it’s risky to spam punches against strong bosses like Balteus. ZeroLenny develops a strategy for this as well, saving their most powerful attacks for when enemies are stunned. Punches deal significant posture damage regardless, making them viable even against stronger enemies.

ZeroLenny manages to defeat each boss in every chapter using only punches, culminating in the final fight where they prevail with right hooks. Although ZeroLenny says they could have used charged punches to deal even more damage, they explain that their strategy is to conserve resources while still completing the mission.

ZeroLenny also utilises the kick ability, which uses more stamina but can knock enemy mechs off cliffs. They mainly use normal or quad legs, as the tank legs provide the most damage boost but poor mobility hinders their effectiveness. They also use normal arms for better maneuverability.

The tower defense mission proves difficult, as ZeroLenny explains that enemy attacks are difficult to dodge, requiring precise timing and strategic decision-making. They only loses one missile in this mission, relying primarily on missiles from the shield burst and the anti-Ice-Worm missile launcher, which is particularly effective against the final boss.
