Warzone players express frustration with the “ruined” DMZ game mode
Hunger Games-style DMZ is “ruined” in Warzone thanks to bugs and glitches in the Season 4 Reloaded update, as players of the FPS game express their frustration with the changes and call on the developers to address the problems. The update introduced a bounty system to DMZ and revamped the plea for help mechanics, but players say the presence of bugs is hindering the gameplay and preventing them from enjoying the fan-favourite Warzone game mode.
DMZ is one of the best free PC games. It’s a popular multiplayer map in Warzone, with a dense urban environment perfect for close-quarters combat and strategic gameplay. The bounty feature, which allows players to place a bounty on an enemy player, encouraging others to hunt them down for rewards, is a great addition.
However, despite that addition and a revamp of plea for help mechanics, players say they are encountering bugs and glitches that are negatively impacting the overall experience and are expressing their frustration on social media platforms and gaming forums.
“I’m tired of this shit,” one player on the GameFAQs Warzone board says. “They should have focused on fixing the existing issues before introducing new features.” Another replies, “The update is completely ruining DMZ.”
“The update was supposed to enhance DMZ but all it did was ruined it,” another says. “It’s not even worth playing DMZ anymore.”
“I got disconnected from the server after I killed the enemy,” another says. “I know this isn’t a rare occurrence but I was pretty annoyed.”
“I had some very unbalanced matches,” another replies. “I was in one game where I got killed as soon as I spawned. I spawned again and was killed again. I spawned again and was killed again.”
“DMZ is officially dead,” another says. “I don’t know what the hell the dev team is doing with this update. It’s ruining DMZ completely.”
“I’m done with DMZ until the bugs are fixed,” another says. “The update is such a disappointment for me.”
