Looking for all the Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 weapon buffs and nerfs? There are plenty of new weapons coming to both the FPS games in the latest update, so here we've got all the changes for each weapon, so you know how to best utilise them once the update drops.
In the biggest update for the free PC game since the start of season 4, several weapons have received buffs and nerfs, with the aim of balancing gameplay in the multiplayer games.
There are several weapon balance changes in the latest update for Modern Warfare 2, with some assault rifles being nerfed, while others have been buffed. Check out the full list of Modern Warfare 2 weapon buffs and nerfs below.
Modern Warfare 2 weapon buffs and nerfs
Here are all the weapon balance changes in the update:
Grau 5.56
The Grau 5.56 assault rifle has been nerfed, with its damage range being reduced and the recoil being increased.
Bruen MK9
The Bruen MK9 LMG has also been nerfed, with its damage range being reduced and the recoil being increased.
FAL
The FAL assault rifle has received a buff, with its damage range being increased and recoil being reduced.
AK-47
The AK-47 assault rifle has also received a buff, with its damage range being increased and recoil being reduced.
CR-56 AMAX
The CR-56 AMAX assault rifle has been nerfed, with its damage range being reduced and the recoil being increased.
MP5
The MP5 submachine gun has received a buff, with its damage range being increased and the recoil being reduced.
MP7
The MP7 submachine gun has been nerfed, with its damage range being reduced and the recoil being increased.
Uzi
The Uzi submachine gun has received a buff, with its damage range being increased and the recoil being reduced.
Oden
The Oden assault rifle has been nerfed, with its damage range being reduced and the recoil being increased.
SCAR
The SCAR assault rifle has received a buff, with its damage range being increased and the recoil being reduced.
Kilo 141
The Kilo 141 assault rifle has been nerfed, with its damage range being reduced and the recoil being increased.
M4A1
The M4A1 assault rifle has received a buff, with its damage range being increased and the recoil being reduced.
Ram-7
The Ram-7 assault rifle has been nerfed, with its damage range being reduced and the recoil being increased.
AX-50
The AX-50 sniper rifle has received a buff, with its damage range being increased and the recoil being reduced.
HDR
The HDR sniper rifle has been nerfed, with its damage range being reduced and the recoil being increased.
Kar98k
The Kar98k sniper rifle has received a buff, with its damage range being increased and the recoil being reduced.
Rytec AMR
The Rytec AMR sniper rifle has been nerfed, with its damage range being reduced and the recoil being increased.
