Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 4: Map Changes and POIs

Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 4 heralds several map changes as the popular battle royale game continues its ongoing narrative. With the Fortnite World Cup just around the corner, Fortnite Season 4 is pushing all the big esports events into high gear, and the map is changing to reflect that.

The latest Fortnite update introduces three new POIs or points of interest to the map: the luxurious Sanguine Suites, a snowy mountain lodge called Relentless Retreat, and a spooky mansion called Eclipsed Estate. These are just some of the Fortnite map changes you can expect with the release of Chapter 4 Season 4.

You can also expect several map changes as Fortnite transforms several areas of the game. The Colossal Coliseum has been replaced by The Aftermath, a post-apocalyptic arena where you’ll have to contend with the floating electrical beams that keep the place running. The intense and snowy Fortnite map location known as Doom’s Domain has become Salty Towers, a futuristic cityscape filled with loot. Stark Industries remains a significant location, but the area has been transformed into something far more futuristic and sci-fi.

The Quinjet Patrol Sites, which have been present on the Fortnite map for years, have mostly been replaced by several smaller new POIs. The Floating Island has returned – for now, at least – as it’s now floating above the Coral Castle location. There have also been some changes to Coral Castle itself, which now has new structures and pathways.

The Fortnite map in Chapter 4 Season 4 looks something like this, according to Fortnite Intel:

The Authority, meanwhile, has transformed into The Ruins, guarded by mystical forces and home to some powerful weapons. The Fortilla has been replaced by the new location, The Authority.

Elsewhere, Slurpy Swamp, Misty Meadows, Lazy Lake, and Pleasant Park remain unchanged. The Fortnite map changes in Chapter 4 reflect the ongoing narrative and updates to the sprawling Fortnite storyline. Now you can discover new areas, find powerful weapons, and engage in thrilling battles as you explore the map.
