What We Want to See in GTA 6's Storyline

With the GTA 6 release date hopefully not too far away, we thought we'd take a look at what we want to see in Rockstar's next big crime game from a story perspective. After all, the best GTA games are marked by their storytelling, from colourful characters, and deep, meaningful missions, and the big question is, what will the next game have to offer?

In the wake of the GTA 6 trailer, we've seen a huge amount of discussion about what Rockstar's next big game could bring in terms of features, improvements, and more. We've already had a look at some of the most common GTA 6 wishlist items, but now it's time to take a more in-depth look at what we want to see from the story.

Many of the wishes on this list come from the GTA 6 wishlist shared by a user on Reddit, but we've also added our own thoughts too.

Here are the best GTA 6 wishlist items:

A more expansive, interactive world

"I want a more expansive and interactive world," a user shares, "I want to have interactive NPCs that have their own daily schedules, and buildings that can be enterable/touchable, I want the ability to mess with electronics, and [to] be able to throw explosives from a safe distance."

Many other users agree with this point, saying they want a world that's more like GTA San Andreas in terms of scale, interactivity, and role-playing possibilities.

"A more expansive world that's filled with interactive NPC's and buildings that can be enterable/touchable," another user adds, "I want to be able to mess with electronics, throw explosives from a safe distance, and just cause general chaos by exploring the world, interacting with people and objects."

I'd also like to see the return of some sort of car customization," another user writes, "because even though I don't play GTA for the cars, I do like to make my own unique vehicles."

Improved controls and physics

"Improved controls – GTA has always had some of the best shooting mechanics, but I think that when GTA V came out the controls had gotten a bit dated."
