If you’re having a hard time getting away from The Singularity, or want to help your friends give them a tough fight, there are a few tips that can help you last longer. We’ve been playing in the Dead By Daylight lobbies for a while now, putting up some strong fights with The Singularity and gathering tips for its second chapter. Dead By Daylight’s The Singularity chapter is one of the best horror games of 2023, as you get a chance to explore a new character alongside several amazing perks. But, like all the killers, this DLC doesn’t come easy and getting trapped in a series of Biopods will get you killed easily. So we’ve got some useful tips to help you outlast The Singularity.
These tips are all helpful, but you can’t rely on any one thing in Dead By Daylight. Most of the time, you’ll learn to outsmart The Singularity by going through obstacles, using pallets, and running. However, if there are some situations that you cannot escape from, these tips should help.
This guide features Dead By Daylight tips for The Singularity, some original characters added in The Sanguinity character DLC and Dead By Daylight add-on, such as Gabriel Soma, Mayflower and their perks, and strategies for getting better at Dead By Daylight gameplay.
Dead By Daylight Singularity tips
These tips are specifically for when you’re facing The Singularity. While the loading screen tips from each chapter’s release are valuable, there are some gameplay specific tips from the Chapter 3 screen that give you a brief overview on what to expect.
This chase-focused killer can only trigger the teleport if you’re infected using Biopods, so it’s worthwhile to check around for the locations where The Singularity places these Biopods so you can avoid them. Still, there are some situations where you can’t avoid the Biopod.
We wish that we had a complete list of all the tips for every attack from The Singularity, but due to how difficult it is to study, there simply isn’t one. That said, here are some survival tips that should help you and your friends get through the horror:
The Gabriel Soma Perks
Before we jump into the add-ons available to The Singularity and Mayflower, along with all their perks, we should take a moment to acknowledge the original character that comes with this DLC: Gabriel Soma.
One of the more interesting perks you can get your hands on is called Made For This, and it was designed specifically for this character. This perk gives you a three percent extra speed when injured instead of the usual doubled speed while injured. This can be combined with Hope, Blood Pact, or the Blighted Serum add-on to really ramp up that speed.
Since luck can be fickle, it’s important not to waste a pallet. One of the best ways to avoid a pallet wasted is to take a hit when necessary. Depending on the location and how long you’ve got until the next Chalice, you may need to take one or two hits. While this can also get you killed, it’s worth it if you get an extra hit or two.
Med-kit strategies
Finally, you can add a Blighted Serum to your Med-kit, which speeds up the outbreak time of the Biopods when you infect someone. Throw in a syringe so you can use this right at the end of your trial, if you need to make a go for it.
If you’ve been lucky enough to get multiple Blighted Serums, bring a Med-kit with the Blighted Serum and a syringe as well so you have them at the end of your final chase of the trial. The more of these add-ons you have, the better your chances are at getting away.
