Dead By Daylight Twisted Masquerade Event

The Dead By Daylight seven-year anniversary is here, and with it comes the highly anticipated Twisted Masquerade event. This event, which originally ran during the last summer festival, is making a comeback with new and exciting content. From June 22 to July 13, 2023, players can participate in this three-week event filled with exclusive masks, offerings, items, decorations, in-game interactions, tome challenges, and more.

What to Expect from the Event

Dead By Daylight Mask-Masquerade introduces new mechanics that add an extra layer of strategy to the trials. Survivors will have the ability to spawn fragile pallets or block windows while being chased. On the other hand, killers can remotely break pallets, reduce stun duration, and expose survivors when they gain Bloodlust.

Additionally, existing offerings will be making a return, including the new offering called Terrormisu. This offering grants extra Bloodpoints to all players in the next trial when obtained. To make the event even more rewarding, players will receive daily login rewards such as Bloodpoints, Iridescent Shards, and more.

Unlock Exclusive Cosmetics

The Twisted Masquerade event features a collection of 12 Dead By Daylight masks that can be obtained. These masks can be unlocked through interactable items called Invitations, which can only be found in public games on ornate pillars. Keep in mind that these masks cannot be obtained in custom games.

At the start of the match, one Invitation will spawn, and if claimed or left in one place for too long, it will respawn in a different location. To unlock a mask, you must have at least one charge when the exit gates are powered or the hatch spawns. If you meet this condition, you will receive a mask for the killer, even with just one charge. Survivors, on the other hand, must either complete all the generators as a team or be the last survivor standing.

If you need more charges, you can either get chased for 30 seconds or claim another Invitation. All unlocked masks will be displayed at the bottom of the screen in the lobby. These unlocked masks will apply to both killers and survivors, including paid DLC characters if you own them.
