Where to find Kakariko Village
Kakariko Village can be approached from any direction, as it’s located in the West Necluda region. You can travel west from Lookout Landing and follow the roads over the Hylia River to reach it.
While there isn’t much to do here for now, if you make the trip and activate the Sahasra Slope Skyview Tower, you’ll be able to uncover the West Necluda portion of the map.
How to get to Kakariko Village

Upon reaching Kakariko Village, you’ll likely want to head to the local Makasura Shrine, just northeast of Kakariko Village. Completing this shrine will reward you with a fast travel point, which is essential in a massive open-world game like this.
What is Kakariko Village like?
Kakariko Village is one of the smaller locations in Tears of the Kingdom, but it has its own charm. Upon arrival, you’ll notice that the area has been somewhat affected by the Upheaval, with new ruins falling from the sky. The village is still the central hub of West Necluda, with a number of vendors and other villages nearby.

If you want to bring down prices in the Enchanted armor shop, you’ll need to complete the quest “Gloom-Borne Illness” first.

Where is Koko?
There isn’t an official quest tied to Koko, the woman who sells ring garlands in Kakariko Village, but you may have noticed that she has a new item in her shop. Paya will request a ring garland as a gift, which you can give to Koko to open up new dialogue options.
There are plenty of other quests that take you to Kakariko Village, including “Messages From An Ancient Era”. This quest requires you to find and photograph stone tablets that are scattered around the overworld. You’re tasked with finding these tablets by an archaeologist named Wortsworth. While it may seem simple enough, you can only make progress by continuously returning to Kakariko Village, making this quest a pain to complete.
