The Legend of Zelda: Toon Link and Zelda 2-pack
Rarity: Extremely rare
Cost: $450
Also known as The Hero (Neutral) and Heroine (Neutral) amiibo, these rare figures are based on The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks and match the art style of that game. They were initially restricted to a special web-based figurine pre-order, meaning they were never available in stores and are correspondingly extremely hard to find.
Once you have managed to track one of these Zelda characters down, be warned that their boxes also feature a gold variant of the Ocarina of Time 3D print, and if yours does not match the accompanying photo on reference guides, it is likely to be counterfeit. For that reason, when one does come on the market, it is advised to stay completely anonymous and insist on having the box double checked.
In 2017, a boxed Toon Link figure with a certificate of authenticity sold for $450. It was a one-off listing, so if you want it for yourself keep checking the link and make sure to use a proxy before the eBay page is blocked.
Mega Man (Gold Edition) amiibo
Rarity: Very rare
Cost: $250
Mega Man is a series with no major qualms over multiple re-releases, yet somehow his amiibo has only become available through special promotions and never more than a daisy chain at any one time. To make matters worse, the majority of them have proven elusive, with the gold Mega Man amiibo proving the most elusive of them all.
For a platforming game character, Mega Man gets a lot of love, with the birthdays of both his creator, Keiji Inafune, and the Blue Bomber himself, appearing as occasions for special amiibo colors.

Super Smash Bros. Mii Fighter 3-pack

Considering the full Super Smash Bros. roster once included every single Mii fighter ever created by Nintendo gamers on the Wii, it isn’t exactly surprising that this 3-pack is coveted by amiibo collectors.
The Mii Fighters don’t belong to any particular game series, making these character models unique among rare amiibo figures. That doesn’t lessen the desirability of these fighters among those who love placing Miis in their Super Smash Bros. matches.
