Luigi's Mansion Fan Art and Secret Boo Effect

I did an amazing Luigi’s Mansion fan art, and it’s got a secret Boo effect that’s so good, it’ll make your skin crawl – no ultraviolet paints or invisible ink used. I’ll get to that later. First, here’s a quick breakdown of how I made the painting, what tools I used, and the process I went through.

The Luigi’s Mansion fan art that I created was inspired by the wonderful work of Soraya Saga, a Japanese writer and designer who is currently working at Overflow, a game studio based in Tokyo. Her work on the Drakengard series, in particular, resonates with me, and I was absolutely blown away when I found out she had worked on Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon.

I wanted to capture the essence of Luigi’s Mansion, and Soraya’s artwork really helped me nail the atmosphere – her style is just incredible, check it out here.

I also wanted to add a little something special, and the little Boo ghost you can see in the gallery below is what I came up with.

So, here’s the Luigi’s Mansion fan art and secret Boo effect in all its glory:

Wow. I’m honestly not sure what to say. The reaction to this piece has been incredible – it’s been shared across social media, and I’ve received countless messages of support and encouragement, alongside many offers to buy the original.

There are two things that really stand out to me about this piece – the first is how many people have expressed their appreciation for me sharing it. I didn’t do this to get a lot of attention, I simply wanted to express my love for the game and its characters through art. The fact that it resonates with so many people is wonderful, and I’m so glad that I’ve been able to create this for everyone to enjoy.

The second thing is the comments. I’m sure you’ve all seen the comments on social media – those who think it’s cool, those who think it’s scary, those who think it’s creepy, those who think it’s brilliant, those who think it’s good, those who think it’s bad, those who think it’s nothing special, those who think it’s terrible, those who think it’s amazing, those who think it’s amazing but also terrible, those who think it’s amazing but also terrible but also cool, those who think it’s amazing but also terrible but also cool but also bad, and those who think it’s amazing but also terrible but also cool but also bad but also cool.

The most common thing, however, is the excitement. I’ve been told that it’s “so good, it’s scary,” “creepy good,” and “crazy good.” I’ve been called a “genius,” a “master,” and an “artist.” I’ve been told that I’m “a legend,” “a hero,” and “a winner.” I’ve been told that I’m “a pro,” “a legend,” and “a god.” I’ve been called “a genius,” “a master,” and “a god.” I’ve been called “an inspiration,” “a hero,” and “a legend.” I’ve been called “a great artist,” “a great piece of art,” and “a great person.” I’ve been called “an artist,” “a winner,” and “a hero.” I’ve been called “an artist,” “a winner,” and “a hero.” I’ve been called “a winner,” “a genius,” and “a legend.” I’ve been called “a genius,” “a master,” and “a god.”

I’ve been called a lot of things.

And then there’s this guy:

Boo Effect

So, here’s the secret to the Boo – invisible black-light nail polish. I know, I know, I just said it’s a secret, but I wanted to explain it to those who still don’t believe it’s possible. The painting itself is an acrylic on canvas, and all of the detail was done by hand using a variety of brushes and tools.

And that’s it – I really am just a regular guy who likes to express himself through art. If you’d like to see more of my work, you can check out my DeviantArt page. And if you want to follow me on social media, you can find me on Twitter, and on Instagram.
