The Magic: The Gathering Eldraine Expansion

The Magic: The Gathering Eldraine expansion is full of familiar faces from fairy tales, with Arthurian legend thrown in for good measure. Following on from Throne of Eldraine, the Wilds of Eldraine showcase a refined, powerful set that feels refreshing after the Phyrexian invasion of Dominaria.

The Wilds of Eldraine previews continue until August 23, meaning you’ll see plenty more new cards over the next few days. We’ve already seen some incredible Eldraine card reveals that demonstrate exactly what this expansion is capable of. If you missed them, check out my personal favourite Eldraine preview cards, as well as the best Throne of Eldraine cards in the Standard format.

Here are all the white, blue, and black cards revealed for Wilds of Eldraine so far. You can also see all the green cards revealed for Eldraine here.

Many of the revealed Eldraine cards take inspiration from fairy tales, with plenty of Arthurian legend references alongside. The Throne of Eldraine set suffered from a power level that was just a bit too high, but Wilds of Eldraine appears to address this in a big way.

The Wilds of Eldraine set also continues to showcase Eldraine’s unique, refined fairy tale aesthetic in a way that Throne of Eldraine just couldn’t match. We’ll be seeing plenty more Eldraine cards over the next few days, so keep checking back to see what you can expect from the expansion.
