A guide to the Minecraft Silence armor trims and Warden

Want to know how to get the Minecraft Silence armor trim? This is one of the rarest items in the sandbox game, and you need all five of the Silence armor trims to get the 'Smithing with Style' achievement. Unfortunately, the Warden is almost impossible to kill, and the Silence armor trim is even rarer.

Luckily, a recommended seed (1029446582854060852) and the locations of each armor trim are revealed, allowing you to skip the grind and set yourself on the path to one of the most elusive achievements in one of the best PC games of the year.

Silence Armor Trims

Here are all five of the Minecraft Silence armor trims and where you can find them:

Wayfinder

Wayfinder is the first armor trim you can get. It’s a trail ruin, so you won’t have to go to any special biomes to find it. Just make sure your pickaxe is good enough to break the blocks in front of the chest.

X: -903, Y: 109, Z: 227

Tide

The best way to get this armor trim is to battle the Elder Guardians in the Ocean Temple. You can find the Ocean Temple at these coordinates: X: 2760, Z: 1620. The Ocean Temple has a large room with a pillar in the center. The pillar blocks the Elder Guardian’s attacks, so you can get a few hits in. It’s a bit of a grind, but you can get a 20 percent drop rate with enough hits.

Rib

You need a nether fortress to get the Rib trim. There’s one at -220, Y: 82, Z: 396. Make sure you’re wearing the best armor you can get, and bring a good pickaxe or enough solid blocks to safely traverse the Nether. We recommend just wearing a pumpkin head to avoid Endermen aggression.

Snout

The Piglin Bastion is one of the most flooded biomes in the overworld, but you can search for a Piglin Bastion at X: 321, Y: 38, Z: 715.

Spire

You can find a spire at the end city, at the coordinates X: -2131, Y: 116, Z: -3344. This is the end city, so make sure you’re geared up and ready to fight. The end is a harsh place, so we recommend bringing a good pickaxe or enough solid blocks to build a bridge to the chest.

Silence

The hardest part is over, but the Warden still won’t be easy. This boss is located in the Deep Dark, at these coordinates: X: -2148, Y: -43, Z: 1683, and X: -2222, Y: -45, Z: 1624. You can only find the Deep Dark by exploring the underworld, so make sure you bring enough supplies to survive.

The Warden is a tough opponent to take on, but if you want to get the Silence armor trim quickly, you need to take on the Warden. The Warden has a devastating attack that can destroy a lot of your armor, but if you have enough of the Silence armor trim, you can mitigate the damage.
