Games that left players wanting more
I’m sure you’ve seen at least a few of these articles before. They usually highlight a variety of games that have left players wanting more, whether it’s through DLC, a sequel, or even just more of the same. Personally, I love these kinds of lists. It’s always fun to reminisce about games that really left their mark on you and left you wanting more, whether that’s through DLC, a sequel, or something completely different.
With that in mind, let’s take a look at some of the games that left players wanting more, as well as a few that left players wanting less. We’ll be looking at everything from Red Dead Redemption 2 to The Witcher 3, so there should be something for everybody. We’ll also be hearing from players themselves, as we hear their own personal stories about the games they feel left them wanting more.
Red Dead Redemption 2
While Red Dead Redemption 2 certainly has its detractors, it’s clear that many players absolutely adore Rockstar’s latest cowboy adventure. With such a large game, it’s not surprising that players are left wanting more. Some users criticize Ubisoft for a lack of new ideas, but most praise Rockstar for creating this beautiful open world and wanting more content in the form of DLC.
“I’d love a Red Dead Redemption 2 DLC,” one user says. “I think the world Rockstar created was so worth exploring more.” Another says, “I’d love to see Arthur and Dutch in a game again, even if just in a DLC.”
While there are many players who feel Red Dead Redemption 2 is overrated, there are plenty that absolutely love it. “Red Dead Redemption 2 is one of the best games I’ve ever played,” one player says. “It’s my favorite Rockstar game, and the story is so good. I’d love to see a sequel to this game.”
Ghost of Tsushima
Ghost of Tsushima is one of the better recent open-world games, with many players praising Sucker Punch for their work on the gorgeous island of Tsushima. While many loved the game, others felt that it dragged on too long.
“Ghost of Tsushima is such a good game,” one player says. “The world is so beautiful, and the samurai combat is so good. I wish it were shorter, but it’s still a great game.”
Chrono Trigger
Chrono Trigger is a classic RPG, and it’s easy to see why players still adore it to this day.
