The Cathedral of Omens is one of the areas in Remnant 2 where you can obtain epic loot. There are no enemies to fight, just puzzles to solve. You’ll encounter this area early on in the game, but it’s one of the few areas in the game where you can still obtain hidden loot after the story.
How to Unlock Doors in the Cathedral of Omens
Each of the Cathedral of Omens’s doors has its own unique front direction. The direction that the door faces changes the puzzle’s solution. For example, in one room, you may need to rotate a symbol until it lines up with the correct position on an altar. But if the door’s direction is different, then you may need to rotate the altar instead.
After solving the first puzzle, you’ll unlock a Blood Moon, which you can use to solve the second puzzle.
How to Solve the Cathedral of Omens Puzzles
The first puzzle in the Cathedral of Omens has several symbols that you can rotate, as well as three positions that the symbols must align with. Rotate the symbols until they match the triangle’s orientation, then align them with the correct positions. If done correctly, the door will unlock.
Trigger a Blood Moon to solve the second puzzle in the Cathedral of Omens area. This puzzle is identical to the first, except the altar is already aligned. All you need to do is rotate the symbols so that they match their positions on the altar.
Open a secret hatch to obtain additional loot during the Blood Moon in the Cathedral of Omens.
After solving the Blood Moon puzzle, you’ll notice a hatch on the floor. Open it to obtain additional loot.
Solve the third puzzle by rotating symbols and aligning them with the correct positions. This puzzle is similar to the first two, except that you can open a small hole in the puzzle to obtain a new Long Gun.
