World of Warcraft's Warlock Pets Get a New Look

Warlocks can now change the appearance and color of their World of Warcraft warlock pets in barber shops across Azeroth with the mid-season patch, as well as a new Time Rift event that allows you to earn cosmetics and quality of life improvements as you level up. If you’re looking to give your lil’ critter a new look, here’s where you can do it.

The WoW patch notes for patch 20.1 mention that you can now visit a barber shop to change your warlock pet’s appearance and color. However, there are some limitations to be aware of.

For one, not all customization options will be available to you right away. The patch notes state that “not all options are available at first; some are locked behind quests or require learning from grimoires.” Luckily, they provide a list of where you can find the various grimoires, so you can plan out what you want your lil’ fella to look like ahead of time.

To change your warlock pet’s appearance, head over to any barber shop in the game. You can find one in Orgrimmar, between the Valley of Wisdom and the Valley of Spirits for the Horde, or in the Trade District of Stormwind City for the Alliance.

In the barber shop UI, you can select your pets and change their appearance and color. You can see what each customization option looks like by hovering over the pet in the barber shop window.
