How to Beat Kronika in Mortal Kombat 11
Mortal Kombat 11 introduces Kronika, The Keeper of Time, and she proves to be a formidable opponent for many players. The final challenge of the main story mode pits you against the Queen of Rage Quits. With her powerful attacks and spamming abilities, overcoming her requires a specific strategy.
If you find yourself struggling against Kronika in Mortal Kombat 11, you are not alone. Many players have encountered the Queen of Rage Quits and found her difficult to overcome. But fret not! We have the tips you need to emerge victorious.
Get Up Close and Personal
The best approach to fighting Kronika in Mortal Kombat 11 is to get up close and personal. While she has a number of dangerous moves, they are easier to avoid when you are in close proximity. Pay special attention to her Time Sphere, as it can be particularly troublesome. However, knowing what to expect allows you to dodge it.
Kronika possesses both a projectile attack and an energy beam attack with the Time Sphere. The Time Sphere can be used as a konkey ball or a projectile attack, and it can also transform into an energy beam. If the energy beam hits you, your character will revert and take damage. While the projectile attack can be blocked, the energy beam cannot.
Stay Alert
When Kronika teleports during the fight, stay alert. She often follows up with a Time Sphere shortly after reappearing. Tracking her movements can give you a better idea of where she will appear next.
During the fight, equipment augments, throws, juggling kombos, fatal blows, and krushing blows are disabled. These moves will not cause any damage to Kronika. Instead, your best approach is to focus on basic attacks and kombos.
Mixing low, medium, high, and overhead attacks in a kombo is the ideal strategy. You can add special moves at the end of your kombo chain, but they are not as effective as your kombos.
Defeating the Underlings
During the fight, Kronika will summon fighters from other timelines to aid her. These fighters have lower vitality but can still deal significant damage. Your goal is to defeat them quickly to minimize damage before Kronika returns to the battle.
There are a few methods you can use to defeat the underlings. You can utilize attacks and skills that couldn’t be used against Kronika, such as amplified special moves, krushing blows, and fatal blows. Additionally, juggle combos and Durga’s Prana’s Time Stop can be employed to quickly dispatch them.
Focus on Finishing Off Kronika
Once the underlings are defeated, shift your focus to finishing off Kronika. She will teleport back and forth between the two pillars on either side of the arena. Take advantage of this time to heal up and replenish your stamina.
When Kronika returns to the arena, cycle through your best kombos and combos to gain the upper hand in the fight. Build up your super meter using Thundergod’s Wrath and unleash the Wrath of Kronika finisher when you’re ready. Additionally, don’t forget to utilize Relentless and Immovability to your advantage.
