It’s been a long time coming, but the Alan Wake 2 release date is finally here. We’ve been waiting for what feels like forever, but finally, we’ll be able to return to Bright Falls and see what Alan, and his partner Saga have been up to since the conclusion of the first game.

Originally set to release on October 17, Alan Wake 2’s launch was delayed by ten days to avoid competition with Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 and Super Mario Bros. Wonder. Now, we’re pleased to say that Alan Wake 2 is almost here, and you can pre-order Alan Wake 2 right now. Alan Wake 2 release date

Alan Wake 2 is releasing on October 27, 2023. The game will be available on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.

A new trailer at Gamescom showcased gameplay of both Saga and Alan, with the game still taking place in the familiar Bright Falls and the new addition of New York City. The gameplay shown features a mixture of shooting and action-packed moments, as well as a few scares along the way.

Alan Wake 2 story

Alan Wake 2 features Saga Anderson as the main character. We don’t know much about Saga yet, but we do know that she’s an FBI agent and that she’ll be a playable character in certain sections of the game. While we don’t know what role Alan will play in Alan Wake 2, we do know that he’s going to be a big part of it.

In a press release from Remedy, it was confirmed that Alan Wake 2 is connected to the game Control. Both games exist within the same shared universe, so we’ll hopefully get to see more of the Control characters in Alan Wake 2.
