Assassin's Creed Origins: Stunning African Wildlife

Assassin’s Creed Origins features stunning African wildlife, as seen in a photograph captured within the game. Taken during the single-player campaign, this stunning shot of a lion’s mane could pass for a real photo at first glance, with the level of detail in Assassin’s Creed Origins seemingly blowing minds.

Taken during the prologue sequence, when Bayek of Siwa travels to the Nubian Desert, the image is one of many photographs the player can capture using the ‘Discovery Tour’ mode in recent Assassin’s Creed games. Peaceful, virtual tourism allows for exploration and virtual photography, making it a great feature for capturing stunning images.

The photo itself is captioned with the Ubisoft game’s logo and a “Discovery Tour” icon, but some users are expressing more than just awe at the level of detail in the game. “This game is fucking nuts,” one commenter replies, with another calling Assassin’s Creed Origins “the best game of 2023.”

“I wish I had gotten to see ancient Egypt in its prime,” another user writes, while another defends the game against the hate it received, calling it “my number three game of all time.” However, a deleted comment leaves room for some (admittedly not very elaborate) speculation and curiosity.

Assassin’s Creed Origins is available now for Xbox One, PC, and PlayStation 4.
