Baldur’s Gate 3 has been one of the most talked-about games on social media recently, and there’s a good reason for that. It’s got stunning graphics, a huge world to explore, and a deep and engaging story. But it turns out there’s one aspect of the RPG that offers players a surprising amount of choice.
Baldur’s Gate 3 character creation is expansive and inclusive, with numerous voice and body type options available. There’s one area, however, where players have a surprising amount of options – and that’s what their character’s genitals look like.
Baldur’s Gate 3 has been praised for its diverse and inclusive character creator – players can even choose to separate genital selection from gender expression. With five different penis models available, one has to wonder – why only five? It’s a fair question, and it’s one that players have been discussing on social media.
“This is the most important question of the day,” one Reddit user declares. Another player replies, “I’m sure they’re all based off real-life models.” Another quips, “At least they let you pick one that matches your skin tone.” I’m not sure if this is a reference to the actual colour of penises, or if it’s an attempt at humour – I haven’t played the game myself, after all.

Each of the five models changes the shape and size of the penis, but subtle changes. Players will presumably be separate from their romantic partners during intimate moments, but I’m not sure if they’ll be able to tell exactly what they’re seeing – perhaps there’ll be an option to zoom in and inspect?
Regardless, players will know what they’ve chosen, as will their romantic partners. And if they have a slightly awkward run-in with another NPC, they might find themselves on the receiving end of a joke about their genitals.
