How to get Scratch
Scratch is a famous furry baby, and you’ll find him up north of the Blighted Village. He’ll run away, but if you catch up with him, he’ll ask you to convince him to come to camp. You’ll need to use the speech check to convince him to join. Return to camp with Scratch and speak to him daily to play fetch and pet him, increasing your companions’ approval.
How to get the Owlfear Cub
In one of the dungeons, you’ll come across a fight between its mother and some Goblins. Spare the Owlfear and find it trapped in a cage in the Goblin Camp. Return it to camp and speak to it daily to play fetch and pet it.
How to get Withers
Withers is a valuable camp companion who can respec your character, and revive party members when needed. You can find him in the Temple of Ilmater, south of the Blighted Village. He needs to be rescued from the Goblins. Speak to him daily to have him rest and train.
How to get Halsin
Halsin is a master Druid who can be recruited by saving her from Goblins. She joins you to help with research on the worm in your brain. You’ll find her in the Blighted Village, south of the Temple of Ilmater. Speak to her daily to have her research and heal party members.
How to get the Oathbreaker Knight
The Oathbreaker Knight is an NPC available only to Paladins who break their oath. You’ll find him in the Temple of Ilmater, south of the Blighted Village. You’ll need to fight him, but once he’s defeated, he can join your camp. Speak to him daily to train.
How to get Barcus Wroot
Barcus Wroot is a funny character who can be recruited in The Underdark Grymforge. He’s trapped in a cage, and you’ll need to fight some enemies and open the cage. Speak to him daily to tell jokes.
How to get the Remnant of Gloom
The Remnant of Gloom is an artifact that can be found in the Black Tower. It’s a talking skull that offers its services as an archer. You can find the Remnant of Gloom in the Black Tower, in the same prison where you’ll find Halis.
