I tested this myself and found that swapping subraces during the character creator process did indeed reset my custom penis option without notification. Since I didn’t change any other options, it seems as though the character creator is only supposed to change the penis options, but it doesn’t actually change them.
The reason behind this oversight is unclear, but it seems to be an unintentional mistake as all other customization options are preserved when swapping subraces. It’s also unclear how many players have encountered this issue, but Urkelli’s post on Reddit has already garnered humorous responses, with many finding the concept of losing one’s penis amusing.
