The Makeshift Prison
Baldur’s Gate 3 offers a walkthrough for the subquests “Ask the Goblin Priestess For Help” and “Save the Goblin Sazza” in the Tiefling camp. You’ll meet the prisoner, Sazza, in the Makeshift Prison as part of the main campaign. Step between a Tiefling and a Goblin prisoner to prevent the prisoner’s death and unlock the quest. As you head back out of the camp, you’re stopped by Sazza, who offers to lead you to the priestess who can remove the brain parasite. You’ll need to free her from her cage first, though, and that’s where our guide comes in.
Underground Passage
Once you’re back outside, if you head to the right and keep going, you’ll reach the Underground Passage. However, the area is guarded by numerous guardian statues, so you’ll need to either use a successful Dexterity Check or Astarion’s Sleight of Hand to lockpick the gate. Either way, you’ll be able to get Sazza safely to her tribe.
Goblin Camp
Your next stop is the Goblin Camp. You’ll know you’re on the right track when you start hearing the sound of combat ahead. There are a few things you need to do here, but the main one is ensuring Sazza’s survival. You’ll want to command her to hold position at all times, otherwise she’ll charge into combat and very likely die.
Back to Makeshift Prison
Eventually, you’ll reach the camp itself. Talk to the Goblin Leader and then Sazza before leaving again and heading back to the Makeshift Prison. Speak with True Soul Gut, who lets slip that Minthara is likely to be the source of the parasite. Agree to help save Sazza’s life and you’ll find yourself facing a decision on allegiances.
If you agree with Minthara, you’ll be rewarded with the Assassin’s Touch dagger. Otherwise, you’ll have to fight your way through to Minthara, who’s deep in the Shattered Sanctum. This is where you’ll find True Soul Gut and meet Minthara.
You’ll have the chance to ask True Soul Gut for help with the parasite. If you do, drink the potion offered by Gut, and you’ll wake up trapped. Free yourself with an Acrobatics or Strength Skill Check, or be saved by Korrilla, and you’ll find yourself fighting Polma and Gut. Defeat them both and you’ll obtain the parasite.
As you’re looting the room, don’t forget to check out the statue at the back of the room. If you activate it, you’ll be able to ask True Soul Gut to join your party. However, it’s not without consequences – back outside the Makeshift Prison, you’ll be attacked by a horde of Goblins. If you’re feeling brave, you can ask Korrilla to save you from them, but it will cost you some experience points.
That’s everything you need to complete the subquests in the Tiefling camp in Baldur’s Gate 3.
